The Son Caribe Band Is Hawaii's Band Of Choice For Live Latin Music! They have performed along side and opened concerts for almost every major Latin music event since 2000.
They've headlined numerous performances at the prestigious Blue Note in Waikiki - Hawaii’s premiere live music venue!
Son Caribe is frequently called upon to perform internationally throughout the Far East, with performance tours in Japan, Korea, and the Philippines.
The band has been featured on K5 TV's popular summer music series Heineken's Hot Hawaiian Nights!
They've also received repeat selections as one of Hawaii's top LIVE bands in Honolulu Magazine's prestigious Music Issue!
As well, Son Caribe has performed for numerous network and local television broadcasts.
The band has recorded music for television and radio commercial broadcasts - among them international clothing company 88 Tee's and University Of Hawaii Sports Television.
Son Caribe's CD "Salsa From Hawaii II" was a #1 Best Seller In Hawaii, and received ©GRAMMY Award Consideration for 2004 Best Salsa/Merengue Album!
Son Caribe has performed as the opening band for ©GRAMMY winning Latin music luminaries CELIA CRUZ and PONCHO SANCHEZ.
Son Caribe has accompanied FANIA recording legend ISMAEL MIRANDA, as well as Latin music recording artists HERMAN OLIVERA, LUISITO ROSARIO, JOHNNY POLANCO, TITO PUENTE JR., CHINO ESPINOZA, FRANKIE MORALES, MARK GONZALEZ, YOKO MIMATA, and JIMMY BOSCH!
Along with it's Latin music, Son Caribe also performs numerous other music genres including Big Band, Jazz, Motown, Rock & Roll, Pop, and Contemporary & Top 40.
